Yes. If your dog ate your underwear because you had vaginal discharge on it, then there’s a chance they may have contracted STDs. This is entirely possible! 

But the good news is that if it happens and you take them to the vet right away they’ll be able to get some medication to help flush out their system.

Can A Dog Pass Underwear?

Depends on how big the dog is and what type of underwear. A small dog can pass through underwear with ease, but an adult or large dog would find it very hard to do so.

Sometimes it can last for a few weeks before passing.  Other times the diarrhea is so extreme that the dog will continue passing it until they’ve gotten rid of whatever it was they ate.  

If you give them medication fast enough then their body might be able to heal faster than usual, but if not then it could take anywhere from days to months!

It really depends on your pet! Dogs are always trying new foods and eating things off the ground, so this is very common.

To prevent any of these problems you need to go about it in two steps:

The First Step

First, check your dog’s diet and see if there could be something missing in their food.  

If they’re not getting enough water or vitamins then their body might try to get these nutrients another way.
